George Robert's very own 007 look-a-like (or was that Forest Gump?) lends his wealth of knowledge to the latest Roof contract for the George Roberts Temporary X Beam Roof System.
The Story so far ..........
The National Trust property, Sizergh Castle, dates back to Elizabethan times and is situated in 1600 acres of beautiful green, lush Cumbrian countryside.
The property, parts of which are to be totally renovated over the next few years, needed to be Scaffold and Roof Sheeted so that work could be carried out completely protected from the elements for the Craftsmen to perform their works to strict national trust standards.
Contacted by a leading Northern England scaffolding contractor who had considered several options on what was available for Temporary roof systems in the market place our Philip Gorton took the initial enquiry.............!
After spending quality time with the customer and with Phil's considerable knowledge of scaffold overoofs the client subsequently placed the order with George Roberts.
In considering the strength to weight ratio using George Roberts aluminium X beam, the speed of erection and the efficiency of the sheets used with this system they chose George Roberts's Temporary X Beam Roof System for the first phase of roof which comprises 1200 aquare metres.
Ok Lets start - putting the Scaffold frame up !!!
